Blessing 170 - Orchids

I received these three lovely orchid plants from my brother-in-law today! I only wish I can care for them the way they need to be cared for. I'm terrible in keeping orchids alive! They are so particular and temperamental! They need the right amount of sunlight, the perfect room temperature, and they only need to be watered once a week. Friends and families somehow know where to perfectly place them inside their homes. Well, I don't.

How I praise God that He knows exactly where to place each one of us in order for us to be at our best potential. He has set our invisible "boundary lines" in pleasant places. He knows so well who to put into our lives, who to leave out, where we should go, where we should stay away, what we will do or not do for Him, and what challenges/trials we need to be more like His Son. But once we step outside those boundaries, we will no longer be inside His perfect will.

We are just like these lovely orchids. WE are so particular and temperamental! We can be so High Maintenance! But God knows exactly where to place us in order for us to thrive and grow! How comforting it is to know that God certainly has MY BACK! He knows me forwards and backwards even though I can't tell my left hand from my right.

The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places;
surely I have a delightful inheritance.
