Blessing 188 - Finger Puppets

I dug up these old finger puppets from the garage and soon after, Ashley and Niko started playing with them! It made a great photo session! We all had our favorites...

My favorite little guy was this starfish. I named him Leonard.

It's amazing what you can find your garage! There are a million things in our garage that I have forgotten about. Out of sight, out of mind. Half of those things I probably will never use, but for some reason I find a reason to hold on to them. Like these finger puppet ... I brought them in so that I may be able to give them to someone at church. But as old as Ashley and Niko were, they still found some joy and got a kick out of something from their preschool days. I think I'll hold on to them just a little longer!

I praise God that we are never out of His sight and out of His mind. God always finds a way to encourage the faint hearted. God always finds a way to use us to be a comfort and a blessing to others. Unlike these finger puppets, we have a choice to walk out of those "garages". We have a choice to want to be used by God. It's only in our own minds that we feel useless and forgotten. Know who you are in Christ. You are forgiven and loved. You have been equipped to accomplish His will in your lives.

Romans 12:2 Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
