My goal tonight was to finish reading "The Shack". I got so engrossed within each page. It's such a great read! I could no longer contain myself that I started to get emotional at Starbucks. It's so gripping, enveloping, and at the same time bittersweet. I am learning so much about the Trinity's relationship with each other. They are the true circle of love. My favorite characters are many. "Missy's" tragedy sucks up the air about me like a vacuum. I have grown to love her. I feel ever so much for "Mack", her father, who had to be rescued by God from his inner turmoil. I had to take a short break so I got a cupcake: 
Did you know that Starbucks has cupcake boxes now? Sweet! The Red Velvet helped me. I have never been so involved within such a story! It's such a painful blessing. You must pick one up.
Not too long after my coffee and cupcake break, a man commented on my Harvard Hoodie. He asked me if I went to Harvard. Me? Hahaha! I was so tempted to say "YES", but I couldn't. He told me that the Harvard basketball team was playing a tournament in Santa Clara and was wondering if I was just representing my university tonight. HOW FUNNY! How I wished! I shall be finishing The Shack tonight. I know that I will be sharing so much from this book in Still Impressions. Please visit me there in the coming days.

ReplyDeleteI have the same kind of hoodie but with "Stanford" stamped on it. I get the same questions from people when I'm wearing it. Paul (a nephew of mine who studied in Stanford gave it to me when he was still studying for his masters there).
