Niko has been bugging me to buy him a night light. I finally got him one! "The Incredibles" for only $1! I was sure to bring a smile upon his face, but unfortunately, I did not read the back of the package. It read: "Light Bulb Not Included". FAIL!
Life Lesson #208: I'm not that incredible if I shine for myself.
How many times have I tried to be a source of light to others without the proper light source? How many times have I thought of myself "righteous" or "living in the light" when I have carried pride and sin within my heart? It's no wonder that I have failed time and time again because I have not been obedient to the Holy Spirit's nudging, wisdom, and strength. I cannot shine without Him. I'm actually pretty useless. Christ is the only "INCREDIBLE" thing in my life. I thank God for humbling me at this very moment.
"So, if you think you are standing firm,
